Still enjoying my runners high from my morning (six hours later) I said yo my coworker “hopefully a few weeks from now it will be easier” to which he replied that even when he ran daily, it doesn’t really get easier. His follow up was that mentally you still have days where you need to push yourself into going.
I can see this. Physically my body WILL get stronger, my heart WILL become more efficient. But I’m thinking that It would be a good idea to figure out something that I love about running. Or at the very least a way to silence the voice claiming to speak for my heart & lungs saying that walking is good too ;)
